this was the sharpest written chapter in the whole film. the short interactions with his wife make it clear why hes tired of the annoying nag and his interactions with the junkie where hes trying to do the right thing (follow protocol) but ultimately doesnt (punches him) even mirror on a small scale the interactions in his relationship where his similarly trying to do the right thing (placate his annoying wife) but ultimately cant (has fun instead)

I want to address the idiots from the previous thread who said that the movie's stupid because Josh Brolin's character dreams about an assault rifle and there's no assault rifle in the movie.

You dense idiots. You absolute morons. Josh Brolin's character is the only person calling the zombies 'weapons' that's because his only frame of reference is this fucking cryptic dream. The zombies primary function is control or life drain, not being used as a weapon.
