Lucas ruined Star Wars. They were three great movies in the 70’s-80’s. The studio and other directors were able to yes and no George to a greater degree than the prequels resulting in well balanced, paced and edited movies. The prequels despite their charm and some good ideas are generally a mess. They’re fun in places and have some decent moments, but ultimately letting George just do what he wanted to do with no input from anyone who disagreed was not a great move and resulted in a flawed disjointed trilogy. He then sold Star Wars to Disney. All his choice. He is to blame. He is the through line. Should’ve left it at three movies.

Kathleen Kennedy and Disney suck, but George was the one who chose to sell. He was in bed with Disney before he he sold as well (see clone wars)Maybe he could’ve made his sequel trilogy and redeemed himself, but he didn’t.

George Lucas is an actual visionary filmmaker. RLM is a group of talentless hacks with shit taste and an inability to understand the themes of the prequels (which aren't exactly incredibly fucking deep, I understood them when I was 10).

Dude whatever. The prequels are fine, but as a whole are nowhere near as good as the original trilogy. They didn’t ruin nothing nor do I have a head canon about anything. The original 3 happen to be more fun, more entertaining, more well written, and more well paced. The prequels have great special effects and some cool ideas that get lost in poor direction and editing.

Shitty movies in general. Grow up.
