I've always love the flashing sirens from the cops car in twin peaks. The camera movement, the walk toward the crime site, the confusion, the disappointment, the eerie music. Even though you know it still works out so great. It's almost the climax of the show for me. Everything afterwards is comparable to leelands driving in the next episode.

fuck it, I know you guys are too dumb and ignorant to appreciate these but I'll post a few of em anyways
another great shot is the opening shot of the final episode of civilisation,

the crescendo, the approach of the majestic city, humanity seeking god and all that.. materialism at its finest... I hate myself for being annoyed at seeing the helicopters blades and thinking its a blemish.

My cinematography teacher back in the days always told us about NYPD Blue and how that show one up the cinematic ambition on the telly

Once I thought it was the X-files who did that but that show pales in comparison to Nypd blue.. X-files feels stiff, lacks fluidity, isn't as precise in its audio/visual-synchronization

Even though it borrows a lot from 28 days later the entrance to Atlanta in Walking Dead is still an iconic shot.

Thrashcan man approaching the oil rig. Running up those stairs. There's something incredible "b-ish" with the Stand, I can't put my finger on it, if it's the dialogue, the uneven acting, the story, the "tv-movie-feel".. Anyway, the scenes with the trashcan man feels like a real movie. Visually speaking. They communicate mood and action through editing and cinematic tricks. Simple but clever.
