The concept of the Maquis never interested me. Maybe it's because human terrorists are so much less interesting than exploring the galaxy and meeting alien races. They were especially pointless in Voyager, after they integrated into the Starfleet crew. I can remember maybe 2 Maquis episodes - the rest of the time you'd just get a throwaway line from Chakotay like "back when I was with the Maquis..." It was a bit better in DS9, but I felt like they pushed Eddington as Sisko's "nemesis" way too hard

Watched "Remember Me". I was exasperated before watching because it was a Bevbev episode. Especially since she just had one 5 episodes ago, with the glowing boyfriend episode who cures Geordi's inceldom. But it was really good and it made me like Beverly much better as a character. Honestly I can say that it made me like her, I like Beverly now. Maybe I'll come to hate her again in the next Bevcentric episode.
At this stage I can say I'm only not hot on Geordi, Worf and Troi. But I like everyone else.

I had to go back and rewind some parts because the shots were so good. I had to look up who did the show and of course it's Cliff Bole, my favourite TNG director.

Aside from the Beverly material, it was a great showing for 'Card, he gets a great outing. It shows just how far his trust goes in his crewmates. There was a slew of family related episodes before this, with Picard's brother, then Data's dad, then Jono the spacechud, and I felt like this continued that thematic undercurrent. Even after all the other crew members start to give Beverly funny looks, he keeps going along with her. He trusts her so much he starts looking insane himself by the end.

Season 4 is a great season so far.
