Dragon ball is next level in Mexico but I get the open air signal. flea markets still sell playing cards of dbz and ranma 1/2. Religious fanatics led a campaign against anime and won. Damn shame. It was the only good thing on those channels. Aside from music videos at midnight.
I come from springfield oregon. When I was s kid we had one artist do a big simpsons image on the side of a building off the highway and everyone loved it. 20 years later some artist got some agreement to do the same shit but on like 20 buildings across town and now the town is littered with simpsons graffiti some good some really cringe. Now I feel like our town has been boiled down to the simpsons worshippers. It's cheesy. I liked being an ordinary town more than that

I remember around 2011 reading about riots in mexico over kids dressing emo. They had to have riots in the street over some eyeliner and black hair dye and yet having all your clothes bedazzled with plastic rhinestones and sequins is just fine. those people are fucked

The media conglomerates don't put anything cerebral on tv because tv is for peasants. They only adopt American films for anything transgressive. It is meant to keep you stupidfied, look up the documentary, teletirania for more.
