Digital isn't even a problem, you can do more with digital than with film. But it requires a lot of effort. A good cinematographer and a damn good digital effects artist. Digital is usually ruined by the "we'll fix it in post" attitude because they never do so all they end up with is dogshit lighting and terrible sets since they didn't have a good cinematographer while shooting.
nice, I read this recently. I'd say for the diehard Heat fan and if you want to learn more about the characters it's worth it, but yeah it's like 380 pages of hard boiled genre fiction. without spoiling anything too much for the book and the upcoming movie, it takes places both before the events of Heat, in which Neal's gang is in Chicago and then in and around Arizona, and then after the events of Heat, in which Chris safely makes it down to South America and works for a large crime family that is getting into tech

Oh course it is. Digital setup, lots of awful CG outsourced to Indians, digital shaky cam, the story and narrative will be awful and trite, and the characters will be a retread of the original movie while also being worse.
Welcome... to the 21st century of films. park
