What do you think of this generation's Leo, Brad, and Tom?

Powell is the weakest performer of the three, but will probably have the most success since Tom probably forced him into Scientology.

>forgetting the De Niro of this generation
He might be an older millennial but he is in the same generation of male actors and mogs all of them in acting.

Patts unironically already has more range than De Niro ever did.

All six men can’t act, but the originals have a little more charisma than the new ones. The new ones can’t act AND are uncharismatic, and the box office reflects that ; nobody wants to watch movies with uncharismatic protagonists.

Will Timmy's career survive his twink death like Leo's did?

they're not comparable at all, which is why hollywood is dying because they bred out competent and appealing actors

You’re right that Cameron’s movies succeeded without established stars; if anything, he made them.
There aren’t many new stars today for two main reasons.

First, most actors today lack charisma.
Tom Holland or Timothée Chalamet are nothing compared to Bill Paxton or Robert De Niro

Secondly, there’s a massive lack of creative talent behind the scenes in Hollywood; writers and directors who can create the kinds of compelling movies that turn actors into stars.

Glen Powell is doing the best of the bunch. Anyone But You is the second highest grossing romance movie of the decade, and Top Gun was the highest grossing action film of the decade.

Him leaning into nostalgia-bait is bringing in the only audience that still watches movies. The Top Gun sequel, Twister sequel, Running Man remake, and Chad Powers looks like legitimate Manning-tier kino.

I have never seen a single movie with anyone on the bottom row and never will.
Glenn was good as Chad in Scream Queens. That is the extent of his presence on my screen.

The only original movies coming out in the last decade are capeshit. I'd rather a remake of a remake of a remake than him be the next Captain Apologize To Niggers Man.

Timmy is like 140 pounds at 30 years old. He is fucked once he gets into his late 30s unless he starts to take roids or something.

Powell is the only one of the new ones that can do comedy really well. He also is the best at public speaking from them. I just don't know how good his dramatic range is of he he can do action. He also broke out really late into his career and is older than people think.

based. Pattinson is absolutely much better than the three others. Better than Pitt and Leo too. I wouldn't even bother watching anything with Chamalet.

Glen Powell apparently wants to make more movies in Texas and the original TCM movie was made in Austin, Texas where Glen lives. He is probably sick of flying over the world to shoot movies and wants to do more stuff from home.

Pattinson and Pitt are the two with the best range out of all of them.

Idk, Pitt's only been noticeably good in The Counselor and maybe Fight Club, and 1-2 others. Patts has been excellent in everything I've seen, but I didn't see Le Batman. I don't think Leo has more an 2-3 good performances either.

I dunno, doing stuff like 12 Monkeys, Fight Club, Snatch, Inglourious Basterds, Burn After Reading, Moneyball, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood I feel like Pitt has the most range out of any "leading" actor since the 90s until now. Though I get not all those roles are leading roles. Other actors are beater at being more traditional leading men like Cruise, Leo, or Damon but Pitt feels like he has the most range in what roles he takes. Pattison or Colin Farrell are the only ones that come to mind who have a wide range as well. Though Farrell doesn't really lead big movies anymore.
