One where I went to see a movie with my 2 bros and after the movie a cute girl accosted us and bashed for eating too loudly.
It was mostly directed at me (fat) and I wasn't even eating.
I should have played it off and asked her on a date as a remedy so she would get all flustered. I bet she'd get even cuter.

Probably seeing Avatar when it first came out. I was flunking out of college and really depressed at the time, and it was the absolute perfect escapism for me at that low time in my life. I remember when the lights came on at the end of the movie I didn't want to leave, I wanted there to be more movie. I actually even remember feeling the post avatar depression that was memed about. (I did get better)

Another contender might be when I first saw Death of Stalin, because I remember laughing literally from start to finish. Was laughing hard at literally every scene. Helped as well that it was in a full theater of other people laughing hard as well. What a great comedy.

Titanic opening weekend. My friends wanted to see it, I hadn't even heard of it. It just completely blew me away in a way I never thought a film could. Every seat was filled. People were glued to their seats, confused and stunned at the events transpiring on screen. At times you could see the entire audience was in tears. back in the old days watching movies at my towns community theatre which sat like 1000 people and had balconies and all that. The theatre industry changed a rule so that you had to show a movie a certain # of times in order to be given the right to show it, which was not economical for that 1000 seat theatre to pull off so they had to sub divide the giant theatre into like 4 mini theatres that look the same inside as every other mini theatre in the province. But back when you had that giant multi level theatre where you could sit on the edge of a balcony or whatever it was very a memorable experience to watch any decent movie.

This encouraged him to basically be a live RiffTrax bit. Eventually another one told him to shut up, and they fought. This was all while another drunk natives was pissing in the corner of the theater, and generally everyone was loud and annoying.

Jurassic Park 1993 or The Fellowship of the Rings premiere holds equal places in my heart.
Also during Brokeback Mountain Heath Ledger ask Jake what’s for dinner and one guy yelled “Ass!” and the entire cinema laughed.

Watching Hereditary is first thing that comes to mind. Nobody in the audience found it the least bit scary literally almost everyone laughed during pretty much all the scary scenes. The jeets acting in particular was too comical for anyone to take it seriously.

Seeing Iron Man 3.
>going in a huge group
>crush is there but she's with her friends
>got tickets online and picked late so I'm in the back away from the others
>get there to find the ticket system is down
>it's first come, first serve
>everyone rushes to preserve their original seating
>get in second to last and find people blocking out whole sections we could have found a seat close to friends
>it's just me and my crush standing around because she had a twisted ankle and her friends didn't save her a seat
>she points at seats near the back and asks me to take the other so she doesn't have to sit next to a stranger
>the sound levels are way out of whack and everyone on the sides are getting deafened
>she grabs my arm during tense moments
>rests her head on my shoulder
>get out and everyone else has tinnitus
>everyone's upset and they lead a charge to get their money back
>it takes 45+ minutes
>crush and I go to the arcade instead
>play Timesplitters and help her cheat to get a Pusheen toy
>go back to my car and just talk
I have a kind of resting face that she thought was stern and aggressive, so without this one little event she would have likely never really talked to me and we would've never dated. Movies was 6.5/10.

My mate and I went to watch the anniversary screening of 1990's Total Recall.

No one else was there, so we had the entire screen to ourselves. We also brought in a bit of drink so we were having a glug and a generally fantastic time.

Good times. Guy is a cunt these days though so swings and roundabouts.

My parents rented out a theater for a screening of the lost world when I was nine. All my friends and family were there. We had lunch in the theater and I opened my gifts there. Genuinely one of my favorite childhood memories. Always been a kinoseur.
Prometheus on a proper giant imax screen in 3d was pretty damn impressive also.

My stepmother won two tickets for the midnight prescreening of Blade 3 before public release the week after from a local radio station. She gave the tickets to me and my dad. Got free concessions and only a dozen people were in a room designed for 320. It was VERY cool back in the day to get to do something like that.
