It's better than the final few seasons of The Office, but that's not saying a whole lot.

The first two seasons she is an incompetent nepo hire working in the government where no one takes her seriously. Then she magically turned into the greatest government worker ever who can do everything randomly.

Yeah, it starts to insist on itself at the end but you start to care for the characters.

It has its moments, but overall pretty average and definitely not the comedic phenomenon claimed by redditors. I can't watch it anymore after discovering that the guy who plays Ron Swanson (probably one of the best characters of the show) is literally the opposite of him in real life which ruins it for me

I've only seen the first 2 seasons and it's surprisingly not bad so far.
The indian guy is terrible but he's supposed to be.

It's ok for a comfy show but it's not early office levels of good. The side characters start to stand out more over time which is great because I think the viewer is supposed to hate Leslie. It's a show you watch once and forget about it.

Holy shit, I'm the exact same. I know who all the characters are and their traits, but nothing about what they did over multiple seasons of the show. The only part that stuck with me was that cooking a beef burger with literally nothing else but salt and maybe cheese and ketchup is a better meal than a super fancy gourmet dish, and that's only because I used to work in a kitchen.

the first season tries too hard to be the office but it eventually finds it's own stride by the second season. Seasons 2-4 are quite good. Like all of the other NBC sitcoms from that lineup however, it starts to suffer from the same issues (flanderized characters, safe and overly self-aware comedy writing, and an all around Reddit-tier sense of quirkiness). Definitely worth a watch but you should skip the last two seasons

First two seasons are great, then there's obviously some shake up in the writers room and everything changes. New characters are introduced, old ones leave, and the relationships get switched up. The writing becomes INCREDIBLY reddit and that's where all the memeshit comes from like Aubrey Plaza-core and Ron Swanson manliness pyramid. Gets somewhat good again once they go to DC for the final arc.
