>Mattel wants Hot Wheels movie after the success of Barbie
How do you even make it? Wouldn't it be something like Wachowski's Speed Racer?

Who even buys hot wheels. Last time I saw few boomers throwing cars off and then fighting over some of them.

Actually original HW vs Matchbox battle would be kino.

And since 1997 Matchbox belongs to Mattel too.

Mattel's nasty practice to turn diecast community even more toxic.
Each month they release 1 model with special spectraflame shiny paint and rubber wheels. They are rare and people scalp them like crazy to wind up aftermarket values.

Aha forgot to add. They have same retail price like non-rare ones so it's not like Mattel earns more on them, Mattel still gets same money as with every other car.

a hot wheel is the only decent god damn toy you can buy for $1.25 and they are high quality, metal frame, etc. Fuck collectors and scalpers are cunts but my kid loves em. The joy on his face when he gets a hot wheel is kino

I actually like Twisted Metal.... a bit too heavy on the estrogen, but I dig it.

Really big fantasy tracks with jumps and accelerator wheel things and everything, something like Redline or the Speed Racer movie where it's just fucking bonkers and doesn't even try for any sort of realism at all. Fuck it, fast cars are cool, I want to see them take some sick jumps.

>How do you even make it?

Over the top car chase movie along the lines of Fast and Furious. I'd probably base it around racing rather than a heist, maybe do something like a Cannonball Run race across the United States.
Anonymous No.213982391
How you make it: Just make a racing movie with plenty of flashy effects and memberberries featuring cars and playsets people are nostalgic for.
How they'll actually make it: A womyn/nog racer challenges traditional masculinity in a 2 hour lecture on feminism, race privilege, and police brutality. They will make sure not to have a repeat of Ken and accidentally make a character men can meme about and enjoy.

It would just be Fast and Furious for kids.

They would have talking faces on the CGI car for 4 year olds. Nothing like Barbie's fame.

You have to do a live action movie with real life stunts like Dukes of Hazard did. My son loves that and Herbie. Both movies made with lots of real life car racing and crashing. Imagine they did something like Cannonball run mixed with way more vehicles, a battle royale basically, and crash after crash of all the classic favorite hit wheel cars in real life not CGI

You will have plenty of CGI as well and fun make believe shit. But there needs to be card doing real loops and jumps.

I want cool tech stuff like drones refueling or even delivering food while going 150mph.

I buy a bunch for myself. For a gift for friends. For his kids. For my cousins kids. Plus I have given them out for Halloween recently. Though we haven't had many kids the past few years.

Yeah. I remember seeing some Hot Wheels animated movies and shows over the years. Never knew how good they were. I mainly get train video stuff for a friend's kid, but they do like car toys too.
