Adolescence FAQ
>Isn't this a show about incels?
No, chud. Dry your eyes and unclench. The topic of incels is mentioned twice in the entire show, both times to be dismissed. The kid is (1) literally 13 years old, and therefore cannot be an “involuntary celibate” because, newsflash, middle schoolers aren’t expected to be smashing, and (2) he explicitly rejects incel ideology and clowns on Andrew Tate. Put the pacifier back in.
>Isn't this show based on a black killer who Netflix then whitewashed?
No, chud. Change your diapers and try again. The creators have said, over and over, that Adolescence isn’t based on one single case. It draws inspiration from a variety of real-life stories, one of which happened to involve a black killer (and a black victim). That doesn’t equal “this is the guy it’s based on,” no matter how hard your Facebook uncle insists.
>Doesn't this show say that incels are the number one problem facing the UK?
No, chud. Not once, not even close. The show does not declare “incels” as the Big Bad of Britain. That’s just you crying wolf because your feelings got bruised. Go hydrate.
>Doesn't this show state that all white men are incels?
No, chud, that’s a bedtime story you tell yourself while kicking your race-war Legos around. The show never says this. Not implied, not hinted, not a thing. Wipe the snot off your keyboard.
