He's showing that he can track him down when he wants to, and, now knows about an aspect of his personal life he had not been forthcoming about. It's clear he's going to try to manipulate "Red" through Harrison. He made a remark earlier in the episode to the asian lady who set up the stage for the Gala asking about her daughter. It was a veiled threat and a reminder of the debt she owes Prater. He'll likely try to establish a similar dynamic here. Charley digging in to Harrison is going to lead to her her discovering his involvement in the hotel murder and potentially open the door to uncovering who "Red" really is.

Batista goes mad and realises that everybody thinks he is nuts, so he ends up kidnapping Dexter and forces him to tell him the truth. Dexter is about to give in when he is saved by Prater who followed him and Ángel is killed, though not before Dexter says 'You were right'. Dexter thinks he is home free, but the disappearance of Batista causes the detectives to realise he was onto something and they work on tracking Dexter down.
