Spider-Man: Brand New Day leaks
There’s been a lot of alleged leaks last week, here’s a compilation.
>At the start of the movie, Peter Parker has given up on having a personal life and is devoting all his time to being Spider-Man.
>The opening montage features Spider-Man fighting B-list comics villains like Tarantula, Boomerang and Ramrod in the years since the ending of No Way Home.
>Spider-Man is popular with the people of New York and attracting the attention of the Avengers, who no longer remember who he is.
>MJ and Ned are coming back and MJ will still be Peter’s love interest, but she has a smaller role due to Zendaya’s busy schedule.
>Sadie Sink is playing a friend of Peter, not Spider-Man. Her on-set codenamed is “Annabelle Adams”, a minor comics character who was a bartender and love interest of Spider-Man’s clone Kaine.
>Hulk starts out in his smart form, but he’s “at his wits’ end” since with She-Hulk and Red Hulk around his greatest fear that his condition gets reproduced and weaponized is coming true, and that’s the setup for him going savage again.
>The Punisher will have a lot of high-tech weapons stolen from the Department of Damage Control to measure up to Spider-Man and the Hulk.
>Scorpion’s design in similar to the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series.
>Mister Negative is not in the movie despite recent rumors.
>There is a samurai-inspired male villain and a female Asian villain with a snake motif.
>The piece of the symbiote left behind in No Way Home has some sort of role and its presence is causing Multiverse “friction.”
>The tone is like a live-action episode of the 90s animated series.
>In addition to Black Widow Yelena Belova, Captain America Sam Wilson might also have a small role in the movie.
