Six Feet Under
It's been exactly 20 years since the last episode of the best drama series with the best ending ever. It's been that long and I still miss them. This series, next to The Sopranos, left the biggest mark on me. Absolutely incredible.

It's just petty relationship drama but they hallucinate talking to dead people to solve their little squabbles.

The only thing I remember from that show is a sex scene where the woman asks the guy to fuck her in the ass

That's what makes it so good. You watch a toxic family and the shit people they get attached to, slowly destroy each other through their own making. I watched it a few years ago with my fiance and I described it as "picking scabs". The show just lets the open wounds fester and I loved every minute of it. We've all met folk just like these characters, which is why watching them fall to their own making is so enthralling. Nothing else like it. This show and American Beauty are peak dramedy masterpieces.

Oh and MCH was better here than in Dexter.

It's worth noting that HBO has released an HD remaster after many years. The difference is incredible, especially in motion

It was filmed on 35mm. If you have original film reels, its not that complicated of a process. Just time consuming, and having decent quality film still intact. It might actually be easier than trying to upscale shit shot on digital. I'm sure some autist here can give a decent rundown.

Anna Paquin in True Blood comes to mind. But also, with a show like 6 Feet Under, yes Nate is the main character, but honestly the family itself if the protagonist and life and death the antagonist.
