This is like Hollywood asking what it can do to save the dying theater industry after two years of cheering on lockdowns.

Disney picked the worst time in history to get woke and go broke. The competition is the worst it has ever been and they can do it much cheaper than the Mouse can. The smart way to go about it would have been to go the route of European fashion brands or Apple and overcharge as the 'premium' service. Instead, they are some of the lowest quality slop you'll find out there, despite costing 10x what the up-and-comer studios do. The only other way would be to deny them market share but Disney basically handed that over by sucking just that bad. Disney could manage another Renaissance tomorrow and still never recapture the market because of how brutally it has shifted.
