They're directors that work within the same genre and had their debut and sophomore films release in the same years. It's an obvious comparison to make and it's hard not to point out the difference in how much attention they've received. I like Creggor's movies, but he's venturing into overrated territory while the Philippous are not talked about enough.

It was much better than Talk To Me, which was a little heavy handed with the substance abuse themes.

They do sibling relationships really well. First the black girl and the younger brother in Talk to Me and then the brother and sister in Bring Her Back.
