first time i watched this. i was expecting something gritty and realistic. but its actually played like a comic book movie, the characters are meathead retards. you couldve expected that from the picture of them, but i didnt think theyd actually want to portray that. its actually pretty embarrassing for weight lifters
I dropped the movie halfway through. After the kidnapped dude escapes, I looked at the clock and saw there was still half of the movie left and just turned it off.

I have only seen him act good twice though. this and walking tall but in that movie they got him doing wrestling moves at one point.
Prtty much his career coasts on the USA fans who like him for his wrestling days.
He also did a cameo in fighting in my family but i guess was just being himself.
I find it really odd how the rock has never worked with bay again. He was amazing in this movie. It was somehow marky mark that worked with bay on two more transformers movies. It should have been The Rock.
It was good. I found his line readings to be really off though, compared to how natural he sounds in Southland.
But then I think that's just an endemic problem with Michael Bay. Except for The Rock which has some pretty damn great performances.

yeah that's a good one
i think most of his movies from the 2000s are pretty fun, despite a lot of them being schlocky. i think the scorpion king is a good movie

He doesnt fight anyone but he's an actual drug addicted psychopath throughout the movie and then he robs a bank and fails. It just goes against everything he wants to be portrayed as in any other movie. Which is ironically why this is the only movie he's good in.

This happens rrpeatedly. He was also good in that movie with John Travolta about Hollywood mafiosos.

Wahlberg is more of a professional than Dwayne, so someone excentric like Bay would find it easier to point him to do stuff for him.
Needless to say, careers of all there of them is not much to talk about nowadays.
>>214017385 >Dwayne's "Never losing a fight" bitchass rule
Where does that rumor come from?
Dwayne lost a fight in one of his first tv appearances already.
