Terminator's story is finished. There's only so many times you can have it come back in time yet again, this time win, this time more advanced than ever, blah blah. At some point it's just silly. Predator doesn't have a story. It's just fun hunts with different groups. Aliens hasn't really ever gotten a long term story even off the ground. It's all become shitty nonsensical prequels.

That's bullshit. The setting and the lore is enough for great content. Get a grip. Alien just had a movie and a show without Sigourney and they both did relatively well. The same thing can happen with Terminator, provided they put forth the effort with no bullshit. The Sarah Connor TV show proved this.

The lack of tough and graphic violence. The peak of Terminator is the scene in the first film where the T-800 smashes a car through the windows of the police station and then roams the corridors blowing cops away with a shotgun. This is should have been the model for all Terminator films going forward. It will never be good again if it must always be softened to a PG-13 level. Censorship also hamstrung the Sarah Connor Chronicles.
