I saw it last night in full Dolby Atmos for the re-release and was stunned how fucking glorious it looked and sounded. Seeing the film in that aspect ratio with true surrounding engagement was next level. It made my appreciation for the film shoot even higher than it already was previously.

I saw this a few months ago for the first time. I have to agree, Burton did a great take on this universe. Loved the lighting and the sets. The only bit I didn't really care for is the Bruce Wayne segments. Felt too soft and "superman" for my taste. I don't know too much about Batman, but I was always under the impression that Bruce's character was more of a "social obligation" and he didn't have any desire to make human connection under that guise, but this movie clearly tries to push the romance angle.
