I've liked it but like other anons in other threads have pointed out him killing of Gemini so early/easy kinda sucked unless it turns out they are twins or quadruplets or some shit. Same with Lady Vengeance. At least Rapunzel escaped and they've definitely redeemed Harrison compared to how he was in New Blood. I think they're good cheap fun. They're not high brow literature or deep or anything, but they're fun.
If you have any kind of commute I actually recommend the audiobooks over the physical ones, since there are better things you can spend your time reading. Plus, the author is the narrator and does a great job.
Personally only on Double Dexter.
The tone is also very different than the TV series. It's both darker and lighter. Dexter is anything but ethical or relatable, yet the comedic aspects are played up and his inner monologue is something to behold.
The third book is somewhat polarizing. I liked it, but a lot didn't.

The New York ripper is Blessing. The script leaked, at season finale he unveils his split identity as the New York Ripper, his second identity has an American accent, the change was so unnerving. Also he was the masked figure who killed Batista in episode 9 framing Claudette because of her obsession with him. He doesn’t like to be called as the New York Ripper, he identifies himself as the Angel of Death, another notable nickname Dexter had, also he tries to kill Harrison because he was hiding when he killed Batista and saw everything, which will put him at odds with Dexter.

Fingerprint scanners require two scans, an initial, and a followup to save a print.
Once saved, it creates a composite of the two.
When Dexter used his stolen fingerprint on the elevator, it took two tries.
They were putting him into the system for future access while pretending they already had Red's fingerprints.
Pretending to want a specific print to allow access to the dinner would be a flex.
"We already have your prints, and know who you are, just take the money and come for a visit with the invite we left in your trophy folder and saw."
Threat and invite all rolled into one.
Prints pulled from everyday household objects are generally not very good under the best of circumstances. Granted, they'd be better from someone that lives alone, eliminating any other people's prints, but taking prints from most commonly used objects leads to a lot of overlapping prints from different fingers.
Getting a print straight from Red would be the best and most sure way of ensuring they were the exact prints you need.

Well, if they're right outside of Prater's tower in that scene because they just left it like I think they are, it would make sense. Doubly so, since Gemini likes to communicate through notes to his twin and of course Gemini would pick a book store near the tower to exchange notes.

It's clear that Prater is paying to take care of Charley's mom.
I'd assume that Charley being Prater's personal bodyguard and fixer pays well too.
Charley is also in too deep with Prater. She can't just quit.
The two seem to have a dislike of each other, but neither can afford to get rid of the other.
Or, hear me out, Prater is planning to get rid of Charley, and replace her with Dexter because he's known all along who Dexter really is.
Charley took three weeks to figure out a low level serial killer's identity.
Dexter took three days, and assumed that identity well enough to then infiltrate Prater's group. We as viewers see that as an asspull, but Prater would be thoroughly impressed.
If Prater offers Dexter Charley's spot as enforcer, think of the trophies Prater could collect with backing Dexter to hunt down killers.
Plus, Dexter could share the acts with Prater through video or pictures.
It's a win win for Dexter and Prater. Hell, it's a win for Harrison too if Prater pulls strings and finances Harrison into a good college.

I don't think she is employed as an assassin for hire. She will kill, but I suspect killing to eliminate a business rival is farther than she is willing to go.
Sure, it would take a bit of effort for Dexter to dig up something codeworthy to take out one of Praters business rivals, but it might could be done. Lots of people that high up have skeletons in the closet.
Prater would be able to cause enough damage amongst the competition to at least make it scary to cross him in deals.
All the while feeding Dexter unsolved killings and paying for Harrison to go to college.
I think Charley is the New York Ripper. Prater has been paying her and taking care of her mom all the while keeping her real identity a secret.
And he has finally had enough of her as we see and needs a replacement fixer. Someone who didn't need a billionaire's backing to remain secret.
Someone Prater can finally relate to in a friendly way instead of the antagonistic way he and Charley interact.
He's going to have Dexter take her out by exposing her as the NY Ripper to Dexter.
That way there is no hesitation from Dexter as to killing her. She fits the code.
The only question is what kind of confrontation will it be? Dexter with his knives and needle vs Charley and her hook?
Or is Prater going to lay it all out on the table for Dexter without Charley's knowledge?

It's entirely possible that Blessings mom saved him from the child soldier stuff, and raised him well, but every now and then Blessing has shown some dark tendencies that his mother curbed.
After her death, the pain and anguish of her death, and he starts having his own dark urges be unchecked.
Dexter is going to be amazed that Blessings mother kept him stable and together all of these years with love, and rag on Ghost Harry for being unable to show him the love and support Blessings mom gave him.
We'll see though. I don't want Blessing to die, or to be revealed as the NY Ripper, but Dexter knows his secret pain, and sees how a mother's love kept him in check for all of that time.
