The most egregious episode of the show is one earlier on that has a subplot revolving around the gender pay gap myth. Other than that the show is pretty tame, and the only show in recent years that I can think of that does diversity correctly. The primary non-white group are native Americans, the black sheriff is written as an actual character outside his skin colour, the Muslim is written mainly as a brainy know-it-all which is designed to play of the white kid who is written as incompetent and kinda stupid, mainly to facilitate the fact that he can literally see aliens regardless of the forms they take and why isn't just unravelling the plot.
But beyond all that, the jokes are funny, the show isn't afraid to take the more sentimental moments seriously and doesn't need to cram a quip into everything, and as I said earlier actually manages to make the Greys scary, with the abduction side-plot in the later half of the series a real highlight.
