I've been marathoning the entire original series and they establish much more episode with bobby honing his cooking/eating skills than they do with him doing comedy. A lot of times too when the show does focus on him and his comedy it's usually portrayed in a negative way like the episode where he takes like history of clowning classes at luanne's community college and the pretentious teacher convinces him to do a gay poodle routine for his talent show.
