You wouldn't have to have him as the main villain over and over. You just shouldn't have introduced him in a TV show and a fucking Ant-man movie. Have him beaten once in a more serious move with the reveal that he was just one of many. Have him cameo in post credit scenes of other movies like they did with Thanos. And then when it's time for the Avengers movie, have him be the big bad.

Post Endgame they needed a simple plan:
>Palate cleanser phase 4.
>Have a few sequel movies for older characters to keep momentum.
>Introduce a few new characters.
>Then have a new Avengers movie, some more down to Earth threat like Masters of Evil to set a new status quo post-snap.
>Then tease multiverse building momentum.
>Next phase multiverse saga.
Instead they:
>Ignored the need for a palate cleanser.
>Took too long for sequels and ignored prior plot points.
>Introduced too many characters.
>Had no new Avengers movies for several phases.
>Had too many plot points, only some of them connected to the multiverse saga.
Disney+ pressure, Feige having full control, COVID problems all contributed to the mess. Jonathan Majors barely mattered, he only represented their kneejerk course correction response in this quagmire they had created.

He probably helped them in the long run.
If he’d still been there, they’d have had 2-3 more bombs on their hands and none of the faux course correction movies in the pipeline.
As it stands, they can spread the lie that F4 and Thunderbolts didn’t flop because they were bad, they just came out at a bad time. It lets them end Capeshit on a more mellow note.

If they’d gone full speed ahead with their old plan, they’d be seething about the evil chuds and their dastardly plan of doing nothing ruining their perfect movies.

It's like they hadn't heard of diminishing returns. The first Kang is introduced at end of Loki and gets killed by Loki and Girl Loki. Second Kang is in an Ant-Man movie, defeated by Ant-Man and ants, maybe killed, maybe just rushed by ants. Whatever, there's a whole stadium of Kangs. It's too much work on the audience for us to appreciate a distinction between He Who Remains and The Conqueror and whoever. Just total miscalculation.

Anon, we have vastly different definitions of palate cleanser. A palate cleanser removes the reisdue of previously eaten foods. Like eating a sorbet between courses, it removes the flavours to prepare you for new flavours. That thing you posted is NOT a palate cleanser, it doesn't remove flavours and prepare you for something new, it is the equivalent of having a nice steak and then eating shards of glass. What I am saying is you needed a brief interlude rather than jumping into a hot pile of crap. That interlude needed to focus on continuing characters to give people some momentum or attachment. Rather than introducing a bunch of who cares stuff.

They pussied out. Quantumania needed Scott to die, or at least sacrifice himself to trap Kang. For some reason they decided to have like some quasi happy ending for most of the Ant Man family because most of them don't want to come back for more. Scott dying and passing the baton to Cassie was an easy slam dunk.

Even hardcore comic fans get tired and bored of never ending reboots and build ups. MCU should’ve just taken a break after End Game. But that’s not how studios work and have to keep pumping it out until it’s dead. Sony’s going to kill Spider Man but pumping out SM movies to keep the rights. When they reboot him again after Holland it will take a massive hit
