>Charles Blakely (Corey Hawkins), an aimless young man descending from free Blacks, lives in a house built by his ancestors and passed down through generations. Newly unemployed and more interested in partying his days away than paying the bills, Charles soon runs into financial problems. this seems like a concept that would be a good thriller if it wasn't entirely about race dynamic, but maybe it adds to it in some way.
