Your defensive reactions tell me that I've hit a sore spot. The bible is supposed to be the word of god, not just a bunch of retarded musings by random dumbfucks, as far as I understand it. Ergo, what's contained within it is supposed to hold some real weight. Yet the vast majority of christians (including you) seem to act in whatever way you wish, basically like any atheist, and sometimes you go to church or do some gay little ritual and call it a day. If you really, truly, believed, you'd all devote your entire waking existence to serving god and christianity, since anything else would be extremely foolish, possibly even evil. If there's an eternal afterlife, then your current existence is so short as to practically not exist. Only a retard would trade eternal bliss for practically nothing.
I'm fairly sure the vast majority of modern christians, especially outside of the third world where you actually might need a coping mechanism to make it through daily life, don't ACTUALLY believe in the nonsense, they just act like they do and try to fool themselves.
