I just don't think he's funny. I don't even have to go into his faggy, safe-edgy, political preaching, his non-political stuff is equally dull. The bit where he talks about having a great immune system is cringe (ironic considering how he died fairly young), his bit about praying to Joe Pesci is just horrendous, his cocksucker rant about that one heckler is just embarassing. It's all just a bunch of self-congratulatory, self-important ranting, no setups, no punchlines, no wit, no laughs. The only bit he has which I enjoy is the one about entropy, but it's still not funny. Even when I was a left-leaning teenager he never once made me even crack a smile. The long line of standups paying constant tribute to him as the all-time greatest just feels like the comedy version of the emperor's new clothes to me. Louis CK and Bill Burr are just as left-leaning and occassionally anti-white as Carlin, except they actually make me laugh ever once in a while.
If you are a Carlin fan, sincerely, what is his funniest bit? Something to rival Norm Macdonald's coma joke.
