Anton said he'd kill Carla is Llewelyn didn't give the money back so he was going to kill her regardless to live up to his promise. He was only playing with the gas station guy, testing and measuring him up to see what kind of man he is.

This scene is way better in the book. In the book, she eventually does call it, and shes wrong. He then tells her something along the lines of "See, there was no way you could avoid this. You were always going to call it wrong, and die. Once I entered your life, your life was over, it was just a matter of time"
Obviously in a more anton way but thats the gist of it. Also like the other anon said he promised he would kill her and hes a man of his word.

If you wanna say she was aware of the gas station guy then she also knew about the trailer park lady and tried to use her tactic of outright refusal, but underestimated her own power level and lack of defective toilets.
I think had she been a fatass who wrecked toilets constantly instead of a cutie she'd have had a good chance.

... bruh. She is saying that the coins have no say because he is the one making the decisions, the coins are a dumb game he is *choosing* to play, he has all the power here. The coins are merely a tool. You dont blame the hammer and say it's divine fate that the nail was driven into the floor after you just hammered it in. Now please, 80 IQ kids.. go play with some dolls ok? :]

free will doesn't exist though, anton didn't have a choice. He's just a meat robot doing what the universe has programmed him to do since the start of the big bang. It was fated.

And yet he's the one forcing them to call it, he initiates the situation. He wants to be able to kill them but also wants the excuse of saying it was the coin's fault, or fate. And while he does have the integrity to spare them if they win, he doesn't need to start the game at all. He wants to.

free will doesn't exist. if you had any understanding of your mind, you would know this. just observe your thoughts and realise that 1) you have no control over what enters your thoughts and 2) there is not even a 'you' in the first place. 'you' are just a stream of thoughts. you will never get to the beginning of the rope, it is thought all the way down.

the idea that one can somehow sit outside this stream and decide which thought to obey or not obey is the sign of a feeble, unreflective mind.

of course I have control over my thoughts, it's as easy as training any other muscle in your body. Do you have perfect control over every muscle twitch in your body? no, some are involuntary but you can still control the vast majority of them. Stop being a LITERAL retard, you are lying to yourself on purpose to avoid responsibility

>idea that one can somehow sit outside this stream and decide which thought to obey or not obey is the sign of a feeble, unreflective mind.
The ability to analyse and act on one's own thinking is the foundational principle of psychotherapy, which has been scientifically proven to work.
The stream of thoughts in the present moment is difficult to control, but by choosing actions now, I could certainly influence what my thought stream consists of in a week, a month or a year from now.

when a thought comes into your mind like "I will stop looking at hentai", that is just another thought. That doesn't prove free will, it proves my point. you are just a puppet and it's physics that are pulling your strings. do you honestly think that 'you' are somehow outside the laws of physics?

you are stuck inside a mental prison, which is the tragedy of being conscious. at least a cat doesn't realise it's a slave.

>Take the bag and go to secondary location (not your house)
>Empty out the cash and make sure there's no weird shit in there like exploding dye packs, C4 or a GPS tracker
>Bag up the cash and drive to a third location that's well known to you but still not your house
>Bury the money and mark it well in a way that isn't immediately noticeable to any random shmuck
>Check back in a month, if it's still there then take it home and stash it somewhere in your house like under the floorboards
Now actually spending it would be the tricky part, I'd still be concerned the bills are marked in some way so I'd probably drive a couple states over and pay cash for something with inherent value like gold. Then drive back home and trade in that gold for nice clean, non cartel associated cash
