I wouldn't like this if I was an actor. But I think they convince themselves they can disassociate themselves from their characters and it isn't actually them on the cereal box. imo there is no way they don't think about how their faces are on millions of cereal boxes every once in a while, and how exposed they are to the public. I find peace within anonymity. Snood claims she doesn't do social media but I guarantee she has a secret private instagram that only her friends and coworkers have access to.

An actress I've been following for a long time had a big break with being cast in a lead role in one of those Tudor dramas (historical court stuff). I wouldn't say that it made her a "household name" or anything of that sort, but it was a legit respected lead role in a big production. She was commenting that it felt so unusual and weird to see things like an ad for this series (with her face) on the side of some bus in the city and stuff like that.
