The Mummy 3 was upside down
>The Dragon Emperor (Jet Li) unifies China and stops the endless civil wars
>He could have saved 60 million people who died during the Cultural Revolution
>He's the villain because he punished his general, Ming Guo, for betraying him and wanting to save China
>He's portrait as the ABSOLUTE EVIL while the anglos (that made China addicted to opium) as the good guys
'Absolute good vs evil' fatigue.
>General Yang, also a villain because he's a patriot that wants to save his people from communism and warlords (anon have a bro like The Emperor had in General Yang)
>The witch is the good girl because she betrays her Emperor and enjoys immortality while her country is abused by Western powers
This movie deserved to fail. Of all the historical and mythological figures they could have chosen for the villain, they chose Qin Shi Huang. Nevertheless, Jet 'Kino' Li and Anthony Wong were awesome.
PD: Colonel Choi, best waifu.
