DUNC is a solid popcorn film, but a rather mid-translation of the Dune books. That being said, while i and many others could do 'better' adapting Dune, its by no means an easy book to translate at all, there is a LOT you need to pick and choose where to cut and change to make it compatible with the movie.

its only unadaptable because GW itself are both incoherent hacks, and woke as shit, and they want to poison and murder their own franchises. It's likely almost impossible to do a faithful translation at this point, because of GW.
Also i'd like to nominate Uber, the graphic novel series, its fucking amazing, but it'll NEVER be translated to the big screen, the kikes and globohomos will NEVER allow the germans to actually win ww2 on screen. They'd whack the director mid-shooting if they'd have to.
