Nothing, it was kino. Especially the ending.

Not much apart from the Teletubbies theme at the end, and even that I think won't be looked back on as harshly once the sequel is out.
It's a Danny Boyle, he's got his style and it's been fairly consistent for thirty years. People seem to forget this is a guy who had a junkie crawl headfirst into a toilet bowl to retrieve a suppository, it was never going to a straightforward horror movie.

>disregards 28 Weeks Later
>Introduces Smart Infected just like Weeks
>Change the entire lore to turn the virus into Left 4 Dead
>CGI blood
>muh iphones
>migrant penis chasing little white boys
>gratuitous sex scene where a child watches his father give cunnilingus to a woman who is not his wife
>le bone temple
>don't ask how the doctor survived or where he keeps getting morphine
All they had to do was make the movie the trailer showed.

There are things that happened in the movie that were irrelevant thematically but i felt the need to nitpick about them because i can only watch movies where I'm spoonfed even irrelevant details through character dialogue. In short, i am not sentient.

Further to this there was a character who did not hate their mother. I hate my mother, so everyone else should too.

The script after the first 30 minutes went to the shitter.
The cinematography and editing sucked throughout, but the same can be said about the original movie, so at least it's consistent in that regard.
