You can still sometimes get small pieces of info from the bluray's structure that are technically not found elsewhere.
Picrel is from the bluray of Tamara Drewe, it's one of the image files used for the technical stuff on the disc (menu etc). Except that it's made directly from the original source, which is the official still shot that the photographer took on set during filming, and of course the studio has THE orig files (instead of them being some twice-reprocessed copies from some blog). Even when they resized and cropped it for this small file on the bluray, they left the metadata intact, and in this case you can see that this picture was taken on Sep 30, 2009, giving a timestamp to when this scene was shot (which matches other production info for the movie).
Is it useless? Well, yeah, except for maybe some detailed reconstruction of Gemma's filmography timeline. But it's still an example of something that you can "pull out of" commercial releases.
