Outside of Redbar clips I don't know anything about Kill Tony. I tried watching one of the recent Austin episodes and couldn't stomach more than a minute. It's extremely cringe and I can't explain why.

This is one of those things where I genuinely do not see the appeal. I don't like stand up anyway, but I've tried to sit through an episode of this Kill Tony thing and my facial expression cycled through completely blank and screwed up with confusion. It's not even that I don't find it funny, it's that I don't know what I'm meant to find funny. It seems to me that much of it is predicated on the whole "it's all a bit awkward and amateur" thing. So is that it? It's anti-humour? And this has been going every week for years?

Kill Tony is a really good format which could only be improved by removing Tony from it. The quality of each show is wholly dependant on his guests.
