It’s the progressive stack. Yes, they think cops bad and they think white people bad, but the assumption is that a bad white cop would be a man, so they move the character down 1 stage on the progressive stack to avoid that association

Disability fits in the stack somewhere but it’s extremely complex and depends on the level of disability and your sex and race. A straight white man with a severe disability would still be higher on the stack than a mildly disabled gay black woman for example.
