the usual metric for good acting is if you stop noticing it, you velieve that is the character. HOWEVER if an actor or actress is good and famous for it, you would watch the movie thinking to yourself, oh he/she is so good, what wonderful acting, therefore star actors are not good actors, you have to pick someone off the street and hope theyre good at acting and then dispose of them after recording, never to give them another role
