This was the last movie ever to be a true cultural phenomenon. Everyone, and I do mean everyone of all ages and walks of life, was talking about it and rushing to go see it. Not infantilized manchildren who browse Reddit like with that Avengers movie, but normal people. The FOMO was out of this world. Nothing will ever come close to TDKR.

Are you retarded? Star Wars II and Infinity War and Endgame were way bigger in the cultural consciousness than this was. Not even a slight against it, there probably won't be anything that will ever catch the moviegoing public's interest more than those.

I'd say Inception (2010) would be it. People still use the word inception to reference recursion. Maybe something else came out since then that was equally big and long-lasting.

It's a Batman movie with Batman barely in it and a villain whose only unique characteristic is that he's a big guy (for you). I barely remember the plot of the movie other than Bane working for the league of shadows to destroy Gotham (so same plot as Begins but worse).
