This was the worst character in cinematic history

as if the "your mom" jokes weren't enough at the start of the film. every time she was on screen I couldn't believe what I was seeing or hearing out of her mouth and it made me hate Laura Dern and anything she's in.

Why? Her arc as a stodgy autistic staff officer put in a command position was great foil to Poe who is the plucky hothead hero fighter but junior rank. Good dramatic side arc that helped seal the fact they were in dire straits.

The irony is the people who get triggered by Holdo because of her hair are the ones who would've laughed at trigger warnings a decade prior.
