I've liked the series up to this point, but damn was that episode ever shit. Did WY go out of their way to assemble a crew of actual retards and autists? Like, what was the Asian guy's deal? Also, what's up with the missions taking decades to travel? This is the first I'm hearing of it in-lore. The other movies make it seem like it maybe takes months to get somewhere, but not years, let alone decades. Clearly it didn't take the Sulaco decades to get to LV-426, and Ripley being adrift for 57 years was treated like a very unusual occurrence.

Also, what was the eyeball thing's deal?
