I've seen more revealing outfits on TV and the internet. With a 5 second Google search.

Not to mention this wasnt treated as inherently sexual in the movie the suits were treated like any other piece of clothing. At most they were like swimsuits.

They relied heavily on practical effects. These effects were cutting edge back then and wowed audiences.

Unlike today which uses CGI made in India and China at cheap prices and low quality. It's looks like a PS4 Game in many Marvel movies.

Not enough people realize that because the time-travel sub-plot was so half baked and partly ruined the film. If they'd just made it a straightforward 'fuck we're lost how do we survive?' movie it might have done better.

Im not a marvel slop consumer, but on a plane trip on Sunday I watched Thunderbolts and it was like that. All white cast and was actually comfy and a decent flick. I didn’t realize it until after I finished watching it and watched some review on YouTube analyzing why it was a box office failure and they were like β€œyou can’t blame it for being woke because it has a white cast and outside of the main character being a women, there are no woke story beats”, and he kind of had a point

Maybe the brightness was only to obscure the poor quality of computer graphics at the time. Like drowning an ugly picture in bloom.
