Prometheus was the first to come to mind and probably the most literal since they think they found a new planet with abundant resources then it turns to shit.
Sticking with the underground theme, The Blockhouse is about some guys who think they got lucky by making it to a bunker stocked with supplies during an air raid, but they get trapped and it all goes to shit.
Greed is another classic where a guy thinks he is going to reconnect with his family and get a big inheritance, but it turns out his family is a bunch of sociopaths and it all goes to shit.
The Money Pit is about a guy who seemingly gets a large house for super cheap thinking he can flip it for a big profit, but everything goes to shit.
Similarly Funny Farm is about a guy moving to the country to fulfill his farm life fantasies only to find that its complete shit too and the rural folks are just as crazy and deranged as people in the city.
