This photo is the perfect illustration of the futility found in the ugly man's attempt at self improvement.
He spent his whole adult life trying to move away from the dorky fat guy image. He broke into real acting, he befriended all the superstars, he got into fashion, lost weight. After all the public humiliations he faced in his life, it looked like he finally did it. The all black outfit, the shades, the airpods, the cigarette that he practiced holding in order to look as slick as possible.
Had this picture been taken half a second earlier, the whole world would've seen him in a different light and his transformation would be complete...
And then he drops the fucking coffee. It's like a cruel joke from God. A reminder that he will never be able to erase the image of the ugly fat fuck he used to be from the minds of the public. He will never be a woman's wet dream, never know what it feels like to be looked at with admiration.
This is perhaps the greatest picture ever taken.
