Zero hopes for this to be good, of all the possible dying industries they could have picked to make a spinoff, they went with the most dishonest and most deserving to die by far.
the concept of a paper selling company going out of business was fine because even the dunder mifflin employees were cynical about it and made fun of working for a dying company.
This one, on the other hand, will get treated differently, because modern writers think journalists are like saints who don't deserve anything bad happen to them, who should be listened to by everyone and that they are people that never do anything wrong, so that already taints the whole self deprecating comedy aspect
