I watched the first seaon of mad men more than a decade ago but I don't remember much other so I won't rank it, I did think it was a glorified soap opera though

The problem is that every single one of those shows were inconsistently good. Like are we talking Season 1 or Season 5 of the Wire? Are we talking aging serum Oz or Keller breaking the arms and legs of Beecher Oz? Tuco beating his henchman to death because he's an explosive Meth addict cartel member, or random no-name biker nazis getting killed by machine gun trunk turrets Breaking Bad?

Enjoyability:
The Shield > Oz > Breaking Bad > Sopranos >The Wire > Mad Men

Quality:
Mad Men > Sopranos = The Shield > The Wire > Breaking Bad > Oz

Yes, The Shield is legitimately of higher quality than The Wire. In fact, its quality is probably the most consistently high of all the shows given.

Sopranos and Shield are the only ones with no weak seasons, here are my rankings to prove I watched them:
>Sopranos
S2 > S4 > S6B > S1 > S3 > S5 > S6A
>Shield
S5 > S4 > S7 > S2 > S3 > S1 > S6
None of these seasons are weak and their quality remained great from beginning to end. The Wire's seasons 1 and 5 are weak. Oz goes downhill somewhere between seasons 3 and 4 and never recovered. Mad Men goes downhill as well, but more gradually, last season of Mad Men is the worst of all these shows. Breaking Bad also lost its touch after the first two seasons.

Breaking Bad mogs Mid Men into oblivion. These are the only shows I watched, only the first three episodes of MM actually because it was too bad for me to continue. The fact this show is shillrd so much on TV makes me think the other shows like sopranos are just as bad.

Mad Men is very good but it is obvious that "Don Draper" is a self-insert high-fantasy wish fullfilment by the jewish showrunner.

This, people can say breaking bad is shallow and has no depth as much as they want but the cinematography and editing is undeniably phenomenal. They utilize the tools of filmmaking to it's full potential to tell the story
