I’m currently typing this as I’m hiding in the restroom because my boss has told us we would be fired if we even pick up our personal phone for anything other than emergency during the day. We work from 7am to 5pm with a 30 minute break at lunch. We were also told we had to get the vaccine or we’d be fired.

Yeah, it's really fun. Every day is like a new episode of tv with a fun adventure and jokes and even a lesson learned at the end.

Ehh, not quite. COVID wreaked havoc on people's social skills and there's much less camaraderie now. The toughest part of the job is jeet wrangling, as those people are somehow working in offices despite being functionally illiterate and unable to write a sentence longer than three words without making a mistake. These days we have to make plans so that we can actually resolve issues with minimum input from jeets.

Imagine hell. That is working in an office. You are treated like a literal nigger just without the whippings. Office ninnies stand around looking for anyone who even looks like they might not be doing something for even a second. Nobody makes jokes with each other or has fun. Everyone hates each other and there is a vague (usually) truce of sorts where you just get along until the end of the day and you can escape.

Yeah I work in a big outsourcing company where most of the employees are jeets working from India. One of our previous clients canceled their contract with us and reshored these functions back to Europe. I don't blame them, because working with jeets is terrible.

I once worked for a big medical trial clinic in the US that outsourced all their call-centers to India and a couple countries in Latin America. EVERY single prospective patient was called by an Indian before they heard anyone else- since they had seniority or something. I always thought that was completely retarded, they probably lost like 80% of their possible patients because no one wants to listen to jeets on the phone.

That's insane. Thankfully for us jeets aren't facing the clients directly. Though sometimes they'll ask for instructions with a mixture of poorly placed canned questions and that hideously mangled English they speak and write.

Maybe I'm too autistic to notice women's backstabbing and power games, but I really haven't seen that in my office, which is mostly gals. Diversity and high turnover rate could also explain it. But I've friends who have told me that working with mostly women can be really shitty.

Ideally gals should get married in their mid to late twenties, have a couple of kids and then get some flexible part-time job as the kids get older and require less immediate attention.
