Oh yeah, NuTrek genuinely is written by Tumblr. It gets worse than this, they always talk in that fucking bizarre HR woke speak like "Holding space for eachother" (literally used all the time on SNW) and list out shit like "She's so empathetic, inspirational and inclusive" when discussing people's traits or "Just do the work" or "Lets unpack that" are other ones they use alot.
Another issue with SNW (and NuTrek) is how self congratulatory it is all the time like it's wanking itself off constantly that Star Trek was at a time, actually culturally relevant enough it inspired a lot of people to go into NASA.
It's genuinely fucking awful. Another fucking issue is through Strange New Worlds, I shit you not, they have constantly recurring jokes about epic bacon and how awesome bacon is. Like come the actual fuck on.
NuTrek is Millennial/Tumblr writing to it's absolute most obnoxious. Genuinely worse than Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
