The only part that didn't work for me was with the snowman purely for how out of left field it was.

The actual fights themselves? S tier comedy

I stopped watching after the chair joke because it made me realize the movie will be 90% rehashing jokes from Airplane or Naked Gun and 10% original jokes that fall flat.

I did snicker at P.L.O.T device I guess.

It's not the greatest movie ever, but it was still decent. Liam Neeson doing the straight man still works really well throughout the film. Worthy sequel balancing slapstick with the updated tone. If anything I hated that the trailers gave a lot of the jokes away already for some big laugh moments. Dave showing up near the end was brilliant.

The joke set pieces are miss than hits but the rapid fire jokes in the scenery and dialog was top tier.
its a good sucessor for the shit generation we have now.

I liked it, even if it's the exact plot of Kingsman and pretty much the same plot of The Naked Gun (instead of a single person mind-controlled to be a killer, mind-control many people at once to go apeshit). Some jokes didn't land, but that was the case of the earlier movies too.
Thank God we got the "dressing up as a little girl" bit early on because it was lame, so it was out of the way quick.

There was a thing about older Liam needing bathroom longer breaks on some recent movies and so a body double started filling in more. Also his line afterwards as he's being attacked was great. "Hey, I'm not even in this movie!"

I liked the ending gag with everyone freezing except for Liam and Pam, the foreboding horror music was a nice touch.

I just wish Rashida Jones was somehow involved because Angie Tribeca was the real first remake of Police Squad and no one talks about it despite the fact it was fucking awesome and I loved it

Snowman bit was kino
Tivo joke was amusing but felt like a Family Guy outtake
Sleeping husband felt forced
Film was better than I was afraid of but hardly good.

What ruined the movie for me was that stole the evil scheme from the Kingsmen. They could have made it funny or a spoof but it felt like they assumed no one would be able to tell. That and it wasn't Zucker Brothers humor, it was Lonely Island humor which isn't as funny.

I liked the Buffy bit but I think Neeson is not a good match for it, isn't he too old? That's my only nitpick about it, I feel it would have to be said by a guy in his 40s, not his 80s.

But she connected it to a router and it deleted all of his Buffys with the update. (Because Tivo is pretty much dead tech at this point, I was under the assumption this actually happened to one of the writers.)

It was alright. Better than expected, but not that great.

I was left wondering if it really was so inferior to the originals and, since it's a tight 90 movie - like all good comedies - there was time enough in rhe day to just play the original Naked Gun. And you know what? It's not as great as I remembered it. It's got some amazing bits, but the whole third act in the baseball stadium fell flat for me.
Maybe it's just that I really hate baseball.

You cant deny tho that when Drebin takes off the mask and the guy in the crowd goes "OH MY GOD, ITS ENRICO PALLAZIO" isnt the funniest shit ever.

That's a fun gag, yeah. But I laughed a lot harder when he was at the meat packing plant and the henchman goes "Here's a message from Ludwig!", starts shooting and Drebin goes "I CANT HEAR YOU. DON'T FIRE YOU GUN AS YOU TALK"

I appreciate this one because it's a first movie in what felt like a decade where you can genuinely debate its merits and not just be drown out by either shills or contrarians.
