I thought season 2 was OKAY, and I actually sort of liked that it was slightly more hopeful with a large cast of surviving characters even despite the hardships.
But then "dude Korean misery porn lmao", every dies almost immediately in season 3, nothing matters, bad guy wins, cop story is once again COMPLETELY POINTLESS, and spinoff bait that nobody in their right mind would want.

it was all about the ones who were convinced they were going to survive
to have this amazingly well done scenes of them in tuxedos doing some kind of parliamentary procedure where they argue and vote who to kill DEMOCRATICALLY
and they slowly realize how things are not going as well as they planned that a tiny little detail is making all that planning meaningless...
it was really such a good finale compared to other seasons
sure it was not perfect
but what year it is, how long it was since we have something perfect?

They were incredibly uninteresting characters though. Most of them didn't even have any names. The ending of the first game was emotionally charged, because the two guys had a history. It was a good idea, but with terrible execution. And that's not even getting into how awful the baby subplot was
