I think the twist is that the confederacy won the civil war, not a Nazi thing. If the Nazis won, I feel it would be more like Wolfenstein and too obvious. The terrorists being called the Sons of Liberty feels closer to that kind of alt timeline, because in their older incarnation, they formed to rebel against what they see as changing the consitution in a way that went against the wishes of the founders. I could honestly see them going for either side, either as hardline confederates or loyalist unionists. Since they were protrayed in a relatively sympathetic light (They only killed that one guard with a weapon, seemingly spare civilians, act in despair whenever one of their number dies), I think it would be the latter.

I like how he admitted the idea of Economos taking advantage of his bird blindness to be pretty funny. Perhaps if Economos was more verbally combative with him, maybe he'll respect him more.
