It doesn't get worse from watching it more, it gets worse from thinking about it more. I only saw it when it was in the theater and I enjoyed it at the time but the more time went by the more opportunities I realized the movie wasted despite its premise.

I keep saying this, they should've let Raimi direct this movie, three major villains in this movie were his, while TASM only had Electro and the Lizard which had no memorable moments in this slop, and the overall atmosphere of this movie was bland, Watt's vision sucks ass. I'm not saying Raimi is the overlord of capeshit kino, but at least he would make it visually appealing, because I rewatched Spider-Man 3 more times that this shit.

What really gets me about these movies is that Tom Holland’s spidey has to keep borrowing villains
Vulture and Mysterio both had more beef with Tony Stark than Spider-Man and NWH was filled with nothing but the villains of other Spider-Men

Fucking hate how they made Connors a fucking comedic relief. His entire arc in this movie makes no fucking sense, because he doesn't need a cure to bring him back to human form, the serum fades away on its own like we saw many times in TASM.
They missed a good plot point where he could’ve finally developed a cure to help sick people, like Sandman’s daughter. Flint Marko is only a bad guy because he tries to help his daughter, so we could’ve closed the story for these two villains perfectly by having Connors finally fulfill his dream of developing a cure, and Marko would’ve dropped being a foe after curing his daughter.
They changed nothing for these two just made things worse. Fuck this movie.

This. Live action Mysterio is literally unpossible on paper, and I can't believe they pulled it off so well. Gyllenhaal was an inspired choice and I thought he was fantastic. Creepy, crazy, and pretty damn epic all up.

I even started to warm up to nigger MJ. I don't want her back, and I'd rather that Sony just carry on from where they ended up rather than resurrect those characters, and go with the proper Spiderman, but actually quite serviceable considering the complexity of the MCU inclusion.
