I gifted him 2x of each mirrodin block boosters, motherfucker pulled a darksteel Colossus, chrome mox and fucking lightning greaves. I was really upset but I enjoyed the movie, in retrospect it wasn't that great

I explicitly remember this feeling when I saw the matrix as a child. It was surreal. I was the perfect age to allow for complete immersion but still child like fun. I always wondered what I would be like as an adult when I was that age. And here I am. Alone. No friends. No lover. No life. Writing this to strangers on the internet. What a life.

I'm taking up refuge here away from /v/ to avoid silksong spoilers. Holy shit I'm so sorry about the state of your board and the industry in general. /v/ is a total dumpsterfire of inorganic shilling for gacha trash the mods refuse to remove for some reason and blatant rage baiting schizos. It's fucking awful, but it is indicative of high levels of activity and engagement.

This board by comparison is a fucking retirement home. Where's the energy? The only reasonable explanation is the state of the industry is in such dire straits that there is not only nothing of interest to discuss but also no one left to discuss with.

It's something to do with you having just experienced this thing with this group of people and you can feel the energy shift in the room when it's over and you're expected to show feeling. I get embarrassed seeing others excited or looking at eachother with any emotion as a response to the movie.
